Meet the Owner
Hi, I’m Eddie Delgado, founder and principal engineer at Mecanica TX. With over 10 years of hands-on experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering, I’ve worked on projects that range from complex public infrastructure to multi-family housing and commercial spaces.
My career began in New York City, where I contributed to critical upgrades for the MTA’s subway system—designing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. After moving to Texas, I joined MEPDelta Design, where I led multi-family residential projects, including developments with over 300 apartments. My time at MEJ & Associates further expanded my portfolio, allowing me to work on a mix of commercial spaces, from modern office environments to advanced laboratory facilities.
Now, at Mecanica TX, I lead a skilled team that delivers tailored MEP solutions for a variety of industries—hospitality, warehousing, food service, and more. We have a passion for energy-efficient systems and sustainable design practices. Using industry-standard tools like AutoCAD, Revit, RHVAC, CHVAC, and COMcheck, we ensure precision, efficiency, and code compliance in everything we do.
